Volunteer at the Randolph Street Community garden!

Looking for a good social action volunteer opportunity?  Join the Racial Justice Team and other UUs in volunteering at the Randolph Street Community garden.  The work date is Saturday, June 7 from 9am-noon.  We will be helping Rev. Dawn Blackman repair planting beds, work on the composting system, and fix/repair various tools that the gardeners use.

The Randolph Street Community garden provides free garden beds and supplies to residents of the north end of Champaign. These garden plots allow low income and immigrant families the space to grow their own fresh vegetables. This is a great project that our church has supported in past years through volunteer work crews and financially contributions. Read more about this garden HERE.
